Another Patrick Kane #88 Moment

Late goal vs Nashville sets up OT, sends United Centre into delirium.

Patrick Kane is my NHL man crush. Ask anyone who knows me, it's the truth. One of my favourite moments from the incredible Chicago Blackhawks 2009-10 Stanley Cup championship run - to break one of the longest droughts in professional sports history - is this moment from the wild quarter final game against Nashville at a typically-raucous United Centre in Chicago.

Short-handed after a careless boarding call on Marian Hossa, Kane, who would go on to go down in Blackhawks lore as the man who scored the overtime winner in Game Six of the Stanley Cup Final against Philadelphia to return Lord Stanley to the Windy City, was right man, right place, right time on this game-tying goal. The 'Hawks went on to win the game in OT, with Hossa, fresh out of the box, going from zero to hero in the eyes of Chicago fans, scoring the winning score.

And then, of course, Chicago won it all in Philadelphia.
