College Football 2014: Week Two Australian Foxtel / ESPN TV Guide

Week Two's schedule should give us a better idea of just how good certain teams are going to be in 2014 - for example, USC as they take on Stanford - and this second weekend also brings us the final renewal (at least for the foreseeable future, unfortunately) of one of the most storied rivalries in college football history - Michigan vs. Notre Dame. Although it's an NBC game in America, ESPN2 will have the broadcast here in Australia as the Irish and Wolverines clash under lights in South Bend.

USC vs. Stanford and Ohio State vs. Virginia Tech are my picks aside from the ND/Michigan contest, and GameDay is live from Eugene, OR ahead of the Ducks taking on Michigan State. That game is a FOX broadcast in America and, sadly, not broadcast here.

Enjoy the football, everyone!

  1. Any idea how this is televised on espn2 when it's a home NBC game? As an American and Notre Dame grad living overseas for years now this is the first I've ever seen of this - not complaining one bit as I've been waiting

    1. Occasionally, ESPN will show SEC games, too. Like the #1 vs #2 LSU/Alabama game a few years back, but this is the first NBC game I've ever seen on ESPN. I bet you're not complaining. But wait til USC get you in November! :)

  2. Was great to watch live without having to hook up my PC to the tv! Still don't know how this happened as it's the first time I've seen it in my 13 years living overseas! Many of my Aussie friends (converted ND fans) also appreciated it so keep it up Foxtel and ESPN! By the way Trojans are good at only one thing in life ;-). This does look like a great matchup coming between ND v USC in November where the winner might just earn themselves a spot in the first ever NCAA playoff... Go Irish!
