It's a strange occurrence when the best games of the weekend are actually on a Thursday night, but that's how it is this week. Oregon are on the road taking on Pac-12 rivals Stanford and, a little earlier, Baylor receives it's sternest test of the season, taking on Blake Bell and the Oklahoma Sooners. The good news? The Ducks-Cardinal game (preceded by a 90-minute College Football live) is broadcast in Australia. The bad news? The Big XII barn-burner won't be.
An interesting week this one: due to FA Cup soccer and tennis, no GameDay on Sunday morning. No Friday night game due to a double dose of hoops, NBA and the Armed Forces Classic to kick off college basketball. The Saturday night primetime game does little to whet my appetite: a middling Notre Dame outfit against a bad Pitt team. Ugh. Is it Week 12 yet?
